What is the Role?
As a Research Intern at Keiji AI, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in AI agents and large language models for biomedical and clinical applications. This is an opportunity to work on impactful research that bridges academic innovation and real-world healthcare solutions.
Research areas include:
- Clinical NLP: Developing language models for clinical trial documents, medical literature, and patient records
- Agentic AI: Building autonomous agents that can perform complex multi-step reasoning for clinical workflows
- Biomedical Knowledge Graphs: Integrating structured knowledge with LLMs for improved reasoning
- Evaluation & Benchmarking: Creating rigorous evaluation frameworks for clinical AI systems
- Publications: Opportunity to co-author papers at top venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, Nature, etc.)
What We Expect
- Currently pursuing or recently completed MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Biomedical Informatics, or related field
- Strong foundation in machine learning and natural language processing
- Experience with LLMs (training, fine-tuning, prompting, or evaluation)
- Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks
- Published research is a plus but not required
- Interest in healthcare, biomedicine, or clinical research applications
